Five Bruin Gymnasts Earn All-Pac-12 Honors

Five members of the UCLA Gymnastics team earned a total of 12 honors as the Pac-12 announced its 2017 all-conference teams.
Freshman Madison Kocian earned the most honors among the Bruins, receiving first-team nods in the all-around and floor exercise and second-team honors on vault and balance beam. Freshman Kyla Ross earned first-team acclaim on all three events in which she competes regularly โ vault, bars and beam. Senior Christine Peng-Peng Lee received first-team honors on bars and second-team honors on beam. Sophomore Katelyn Ohashi claimed first-team honors on beam and second-team on floor, and senior Hallie Mossett was named to the first team on floor.
UCLA's 12 All-Pac-12 honors tie for the most in the conference with Utah, and the Bruins' four Pac-12 honors on beam are the most by any one team on a single event.
The All-Conference first team consists of the top four all-around competitors, plus the top four competitors in each individual event, including ties, as determined by regional qualifying scores (RQS) after the Pac-12 Championships. The All-Conference second team consists of the fifth through eighth place all-around competitors, plus the fifth through eighth place competitors in each individual event, including ties.
