SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.ย โ UCLA senior point guard Jordin Canada (Los Angeles, Calif.)ย was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.
Canada led UCLA to its second-consecutive Pac-12 road sweep with wins at Washington (86-69) and Washington State (79-71).
Opened the weekย with 22 points, five rebounds and five assists at UW, becoming just the fifth player in Pac-12 history to go over 300 career steals.
Followed up with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and two more steals in the win at WSU.
For the week, she averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 51.7 percent (15-for-29) from the field and 75.0 percent (9-for-12) from the free-throw line.
