UCLA to Face UNC in 2019 CBS Sports Classic

The UCLA men's basketball team will play against North Carolina in the CBS Sports Classic at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 21, 2019.

The 2019 edition will mark the sixth annual CBS Sports Classic and feature the first meeting between UCLA and UNC since the two programs faced each other in Dec. 2015 at the CBS Sports Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The Dec. 2019 doubleheader at T-Mobile Arena will also include a matchup between Kentucky and Ohio State. This will mark the second time the doubleheader has taken place at T-Mobile Arena, most recently occurring there in Dec. 2016.

UCLA has gone 2-2 in four previous matchups at the CBS Sports Classic. Ticket information for the 2019 CBS Sports Classic will be available at a later date.

Previously announced, the upcoming 2018 CBS Sports Classic is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22, at the United Center in Chicago. UCLA will face Ohio State while Kentucky will take on North Carolina.

UCLA's game against Ohio State in Chicago next December will take place three days after UCLA plays at Cincinnati in the Bearcats' newly-renovated Fifth Third Arena (Dec. 19, 2018).

The CBS Sports Classic has taken place at four different venues during its first four seasons โ United Center in 2014 (with a return in 2018), Barclays Center in Brooklyn in 2015, T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in 2016 (with a return in 2019) and Smoothie King Center in 2017.
