SAN FRANCISCO โ€“ Four members of the UCLA men's tennis team earned 2018 All-Academic recognition from the Pac-12 Conference, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.

Seniors Austin Rapp and Martin Redlicki headlined the quartet of honorees with First-Team selections. Junior Maxime Cressy was tabbed for the Second Team, while senior Logan Staggs earned Honorable Mention attention.

Redlicki, who already earned the conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year award, has been a top performer on and off the court for UCLA. The political science and communications double major, who holds a cumulative 3.61 grade point average (GPA), won the NCAA doubles title Monday with teammate Evan Zhu. It capped a season full of honors for Redlicki, who was also recently named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Senior Player of the Year after spending eight of 11 weeks atop the governing body's singles rankings. He finished the year with a 29-7 singles record and 23-5 doubles mark. The Boca Raton, Fla. native also reached the semifinals of the NCAA singles tournament. The All-Academic honor represents the third of Redlicki's career and second as a member of the First Team.

Rapp's First-Team selection is a career-best for the four-year contributor, who previously earned Honorable Mention accolades in 2016 and 2017. The Rancho Mirage, Calif. native, who teamed with freshman Keegan Smith to reach the semifinal round of the NCAA doubles tournament, holds a GPA of 3.49 as a political science major. The ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award recipient teamed with Smith to go 18-10 in doubles play and also turned in a 15-5 singles record.

Cressy had a breakout 2018, winning 10 of his last 11 matches on the way to a 33-7 overall singles record (21-3 in dual matches) while possessing a 3.32 GPA as a Mathematics/Economics major. The junior earned a conference-best three Pac-12 Player of the Week honors, including back-to-back honors for the weeks of April 10 and 17. Cressy clinched a team-best six matches over the course of the dual-match schedule, including a pair versus crosstown rival USC. The Hermosa Beach, Calif. native previously earned an Honorable Mention pick in 2017.

Staggs rounds out the list of honorees with his second Honorable Mention selection. The senior from Tracy, Calif. went 23-12 in singles play for his third 20-win season since transferring to UCLA from Northwestern as a sophomore. Staggs also built on his reputation as a clutch player, clinching four victories for the Bruins.

In order to be eligible for All-Academic recognition, players must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's matches.
