STANFORD, Calif. - The Bruins remained in second place following 36 holes of the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Condoleezza Rice, while junior Bronte Law stayed in second place in the individual standings.

The Bruins were seven strokes better as a team on Monday with a 2-under 282, putting them at +3 (571) through two rounds and three shots back of Stanford (E, 568).

Law had an eventful round with an eagle, five birdies, seven pars, four bogeys and a double bogey for a 1-under 70. Her front nine featured birdies on #4, #6, #8 and #9, along with bogeys on #1, #5 and #7. She would take the individual lead after making eagle on the 12th, but despite a birdie on the 16th, a bogey on #14 and a double on #17 put her at -5 (137) after two rounds and one shot back of Pepperdine's Marissa Chow (-6, 136).

Sophomore Erin Choi equaled her career-low round with a 1-under 70. She made birdies on the first, eighth and 12th holes, with bogeys on #3 and #10 and is tied for 15th through two rounds at +2 (144).

Sophomore Lydia Choi and freshman Lilia Vu each shot even-par 71 in round two, but got there in different ways. Choi had back-to-back bogeys on the second and third, but made birdies on #12 and #18. Vu struggled with five bogeys on the front nine and a birdie on the seventh, but bounced back on the second nine with five birdies on #10, #12, #14, #16 and #18, with a bogey on #17. Both players are tied for 20th at +3 (145) after two rounds.

Freshman Bethany Wu had a non-scoring 75 (+4) on Tuesday with a birdie on the 10th, three bogeys and one double. She is tied for 51st at +8 (150). Senior Louise Ridderström, playing as an individual, is tied for 24th after two rounds at +4 (146). She was 2-over (73) for the second straight round with 16 pars and bogeys on the sixth and 12th.

The Bruins' final round begins at 9 a.m. on the first tee. Paired with Stanford and USC, UCLA will go in the order of Wu, Lydia Choi, Vu, Erin Choi and Law. Ridderström will tee off on the 10th hole at 9:36 a.m.
