“Memorable Moments”

Relive the most memorable UCLA athletics moments as told by coaches, athletes, alumni, and fans in the Bruin Films series “Memorable Moments”.

Jose Lopez – In this episode, Jose Lopez recounts his memories from the 1997 Men's Soccer National Championship. A three-sport athlete in his day at UCLA, Lopez never claimed a title despite making the NCAA Finals three times as a player in soccer. In 1997, serving as an assistant coach on close-friend Sigi Schmid's staff, the Bruins captured the crown and took home the program's third NCAA Championship to the delight of UCLA Athletics Hall of Famer, Lopez.

The 2015 UCLA Bruins are in the midst of their season and host a pair of non-conference opponents in the coming days. Come out and see the Bruins take on Cal Poly on Friday, September 18 at 7:00pm PT or UC Santa Barbara on Monday, September 21 at 7:00pm PT. For tickets, please visit or call 310-UCLA-WIN.
