NAPA, Calif. - The Bruins concluded the regular season at the Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Country Club, finishing in 11th place (+44, 908) after shooting a 20-over 308 on Tuesday.
Junior Mariel Galdiano picked up a T-11 finish (+5, 221) after shooting a 3-over 75 on Tuesday. She made one birdie on the fifth, two bogeys and a double. Junior Clare Legaspi tied for 29th (+9, 225) following a 5-over 77, making two birdies (No. 11 and 18) and seven bogeys. Senior Beth Wu tied for 49th (+13, 229), notching a 5-over 77 on three birdies (No. 9, 16 and 5) and eight bogeys. Sophomore Vera Markevich tied for 62nd (+17, 233), making five bogeys and a double in a 7-over 79. Freshman Phoebe Yue tied for 74th (+20, 236), shooting an 8-over 80 on two birdies (No. 9 and 1), eight bogeys and a double.
The Pac-12 Conference Championships get underway on Monday, April 15 at Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. The three-day, 54-hole tournament continues on Tuesday, April 16 and concludes on Wednesday, April 17.
