2026 UCLA Football First Responder Flag Demonstration Sign Up Form

UCLA Athletics invites local first responders to join us at the Rose Bowl on Saturday, September 12 as we honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 prior to UCLA Football's home opener against San Diego State. 

Participating first responders will have the opportunity to hold a United States flag on the field for our rememberance ceremony, moment of silence and National Anthem prior to kickoff. We invite you to stand together in a tribute to the courage, sacrifice and service of those who bravely rersponded to the tragedy on September 11, 2001. 

Thank you for helping us honor this important anniversary and those who serve our community.

Selection Criteria: 

• Active first responder serving with a department that manages emergency response
• Individual must be in good standing with their department
• Individual must be able to participate in a one hour pre-game rehearsal and the pre-game ceremony
• All are welcomed for nomination, and will be considered, regardless of race/ethnicity or gender 

Selected Nominees will Receive:

• Up to four (4) complimentary reserved game tickets
• One (1) complimentary gameday parking pass
• In-Venue recognition on the field prior to kickoff
