Creative Content Volunteer
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Athletics Department is accepting applications for Creative Content Volunteers. Applicants must be current UCLA students. This is a volunteer position designed to immerse you in the dynamic world of a major collegiate athletic department, where you'll contribute to telling the stories of our Bruin student-athletes, teams, and Bruin community. The UCLA Athletics Creative Content Volunteer program offers a year-long opportunity for passionate and creative individuals to gain invaluable hands-on experience in sports content creation.
As a Creative Content Volunteer, you will have the chance to develop your skills across various digital media, potentially including social media strategy, video production and editing, graphic design, live event coverage, photography. You'll learn from experienced professionals and collaborate on projects that enhance the Bruin fan experience and promote the UCLA Athletics brand.
Responsibilities include attending designated office hours weekly (two hours per week) and assisting in covering games/practices.
*Employment is contingent upon completion of a satisfactory background check performed by Universal Background Screening and UCLA Athletics.
As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct; have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of misconduct with a previous employer.
“Misconduct” means any violation of the policies or laws governing conduct at the applicant’s previous place of employment, including, but not limited to, violations of policies or laws prohibiting sexual harassment, sexual assault, or other forms of harassment, discrimination, dishonesty, or unethical conduct, as defined by the employer.
