One of the finest forwards in UCLA basketball's storied history, David Greenwood led the Bruins in both scoring and rebounding in his junior (1978) and senior (1979) seasons. He then was selected with the second pick of the NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls and went on to play 12 years in the league. He averaged 10.2 points and 7.9 rebounds in 823 career games with Chicago, Denver, San Antonio, and Detroit. He later became the head basketball coach of Verbum Dei High School, his alma mater.
