Men's Volleyball Team Sweeps Puerto Rican National Team

Fifth ranked UCLA won an exhibition match Saturday night against the Puerto Rican National Team to complete a three-match road trip.
The Bruins (16-6) defeated the Patriotas, 15-6, 15-9, 15-2.
Junior Adam Naeve spiked 15 kills, recorded seven blocks and hit .789 to lead all players. Senior Danny Farmer recorded a double-double, spiking 10 kills and digging 10 balls. Ed Ratledge added 11 kills (.688) in relief of Evan Thatcher, who sprained an ankle.
The previous night, the Bruins defeated American University of Puerto Rico, 15-0, 15-0, 15-1 on the strength of nine kills by Ratledge and Brian Coleman. Setter Kris Welch recorded 18 set assists before being replaced by Dan Connors, who added 11 assists.
Matt Komer also added seven kills (.778) and Matt Grace was the Bruins leading blocker with four, including two solos.
