The Trojans fired in another goal with 3:56 left in the fourth quarter but the Bears answered with a goal soon after. Bear senior Melanie von Hartitzsch notched her second goal of the game with 25 seconds left on the clock to put the score at 3-2 with the Bears on top. California finally closed in on the victory after USC turned the ball over in the last 15 seconds of the game. With today's win, Cal now owns a 2-1 season record over the Trojans.
