Post-Game Notes
1) UCLA has now won its last 12 regular season home games.
2) UCLA head coach Bob Toledo increases his coaching record to 27-11. He is now 15-3 at the Rose Bowl during the regular season. Under Toledo, UCLA is 23-4 when it scores at least 30 points.
3) UCLA has scored at least 28 points in 17 of its last 18 games.
4) Ricky Manning, Jr.'s 83-yard interception return was the longest interception return by a Bruin since Abdul McCullough's 98-yarder against Arizona State in 1994.
5) Brad Melsby had two touchdown receptions, making him the only Bruin with more than one touchdown catch this season. He is the first Bruin since Danny Farmer and Brian Poli-Dixon against Miami last season to catch multiple touchdowns in a game.
6) For the third consecutive week, UCLA quarterback Drew Bennett threw for a career-high in yards - 176 this week.
7) Freddie Mitchell's 149 yards receiving rank as the 15th-best (tied with Jim McElroy, 1996 vs. USC) single-game total in school history. It is the most yards by a Bruin since Danny Farmer's 161 vs. Oregon in 1998. Mitchell's nine catches are tied for seventh overall with Brian Poli-Dixon (1998 vs. Oregon State).
8) Place kicker Chris Griffith made both of his field goal attempts (26, 28 yards) and has not missed one in five attempts this season. He is also 12-12 in PATs this year.
