- The top-ranked and unbeaten UCLA men's volleyball team swept Loyola Marymount Wednesday night before 973 in Gersten Pavilion.

The Bruins (9-0, 3-0) won their 58th straight match against the Lions (2-1, 1-1), 15-4, 15-13, 15-13. UCLA leads the series, 58-0.

Sophomore outside hitter Matt Komer led the Bruins with14 kills and three total blocks. Junior Mark Williams added 13 kills, and seniors Matt Davis and Brandon Taliaferro recorded nine and eight digs, respectively.

UCLA will host fifth ranked USC (6-1, 4-0) in the 23rd Annual Kilgour Cup, Fri., Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion. The Bruins have won 13th straight over the Trojans.
