School, arena and personal records were broken left and right in UCLA's Pauley Pavilion today, and when it was all said and done, the UCLA Gymnastics team came away with a new school record of 197.8 in its Pac-10 Conference win over Stanford at Pauley Pavilion today. Stanford scored a 193.725 in a losing effort.

The Bruins also set school records on the bars (49.7) and floor (49.625), and 16 individual career-highs were either tied or set. Freshman Onnie Willis tied a Pauley Pavilion record with a 9.975 on bars, and junior Mohini Bhardwaj tied a Pauley Pavilion all-around mark with a career-high 39.725 (second-highest all-around score in school history, trailing only Leah Homma's 39.75, set in 1996).

Bhardwaj won the all-around for the fourth consecutive meet. Senior Heidi Moneymaker finished second with a season-high 39.6. Senior Lena Degteva and Willis placed third with identical scores of 39.525, a career-high for Willis and a season-high for Degteva. Freshman Kristin Parker completed the Bruin sweep with a career-high 39.1 to place fifth. Willis set or tied career-highs on all four events and the all-around.

UCLA started the meet with a season-best 49.325 on vault, which stands as the No. 8 all-time score in Bruin history. Freshman Malia Jones opened the meet with a career-high 9.825 on a 9.9 start value vault. The scores built from there, and Moneymaker and Bhardwaj scored winning marks of 9.9 (tied with Stanford's Larissa Fontaine).

The Bruins' next rotation on bars was historic. Doni Thompson recorded a 9.925 career-high leadoff, followed by Willis' Pauley Pavilion record-tying 9.975 and Parker's career-high 9.925 and Degteva's career-high tying 9.925. Bhardwaj scored a career-high 9.95 in the anchor position, knocking out Moneymaker's 9.85 to give the Bruins their 49.7, the highest team total scored in any event ever for a UCLA team.

Beam turned out to be UCLA's lowest scoring event, but it was still a season-high tying 49.15. Bhardwaj won the event with a career-high tying 9.925, followed by Moneymaker with a 9.9 and Degteva in third with a 9.85.

UCLA again set another school record on floor, totaling 49.625. Moneymaker, Bhardwaj and Willis tied for first with career-high 9.95s. Jones also set a new career-high with a fifth-place score of 9.875.

UCLA (7-4, 3-0 in the Pac-10) will next face Cal, UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis in Berkeley on Friday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 pm. Stanford (4-2, 2-2) travels to Boise State on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2:00 pm.
