Tempe, Ariz. -- The No. 5 UCLA women's soccer team dropped just its third match of the season Friday evening, falling 1-0 to Arizona State in double overtime at ASU's Sun Devil Soccer Stadium. With the loss, UCLA drops to 14-3-1 on the season and 5-2-1 in the Pac-10.

ASU's Stacey Tullock scored the game-winning goal at the 109:28 mark in the second of two sudden-death overtime periods. In the 110th minute of play, Tullock gathered up a loose ball in front of the Bruin net and was able to chip a 10-yard shot over UCLA goalkeeper CiCi Peterson, who had come off her line to try and block the shot. Holly Cohen was credited with the assist.

Similar to its overtime loss at Washington earlier in the season, UCLA dominated most of the match, outshooting ASU by an 18-4 margin.

Tullock's goal was only the seventh surrendered by UCLA in 18 games this season. With the victory, ASU improves to 13-5-1 on the year and 4-4-0 in the Pac-10 Conference.

With two victories this weekend, UCLA had a chance to possibly move up in the polls, as No. 2 Washington was upset earlier today by Washington State, 1-0 in Pullman.

Instead, the Bruins will try to finish out the regular season on a high note when they travel to Tucson this Sunday for a 1:00 p.m. match with Arizona.

NCAA selections come out this Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Stay tuned to the UCLA website for UCLA's NCAA tournament schedule.
