Los Angeles - In one of its most solid performances of the season, No. 9 UCLA defeated Boston University, 6-0 Friday in the first round of competition at the NCAA Women's Tennis Regionals held at UCLA's Los Angeles Tennis Center.

UCLA will meet Georgia Tech in Saturday's regional final at 3:00 p.m. The Yellow Jackets upset No. 25 Washington, 5-3 in the first match on Friday.

Saturday's winner advances to the 16-team NCAA Championships, May 18-22 in Malibu, Calif.
