STOCKTON,Calif.--

Third-ranked UCLA (5-2, 1-0 MPSF) defeated ninth-ranked Pacific (3-6, 0-2 MPSF), 12-1, on Sunday, Sept. 24 at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.

The Bruins started quickly, taking a 5-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Senior Adam Wright (Seal Beach, Calif.) scored four of his game-high five goals in the first quarter.

Sophomore Chris Nowak (Manteca, Calif.) scored Pacific's only goal.

UCLA travels to UC Santa Barbara next Friday and hosts Pepperdine on Sunday at noon at the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center.
