The defending NCAA champion UCLA men's volleyball team swept Division III UC San Diego Saturday night for its 12th victory of the season.

The Bruins (12-4, 6-2) won 31-29, 33-31, 30-28 in 98 minutes before 456 spectators at the John Wooden Center.

Sophomore Cameron Mount led the Bruins with 14 kills (.407), followed by nine kills apiece from senior Mark Williams (.318) and freshman Chirs Pe?a (.353). Pe?a also led the Bruins with eight block assists.

The Bruins out-blocked the Tritons, 13.5-6.0, out-hit them .327 to .211 and owned a 5-4 serving edge.

The Tritons (2-13, 0-11) were led by seniors Zack Hite and Donald Chen who spiked 17 and 11 kills, respectively.

UCLA's next match will be on the road against USC on Mar. 7 at 7 p.m.
