On November 15th, 2003, the UCLA Golf teams, alumni, and their families celebrated the grand opening of UCLA's new on-campus practice facility, generously donated by Jack and Rhodine Gifford.

The practice facility is located at the north end of the Intramural field south of Charles Young Drive in between Drake Stadium and the John Wooden Center. The practice facility will be maintained daily by the greenskeeping staff at Bel-Air Country Club, and UCLA Golf team members now have the opportunity to utilize a 3,000 square-foot bermuda bentgrass putting green, greenside/fairway bunker, and a 3,000 square foot tee-box to hit balls onto the field. Additionally, the UCLA teams will have access to a private building adjacent to the tee-box including lockerrooms, video equipment, golf specific exercise equipment, a club repair area, and a lounge.
