San Diego, Calif. - Bruin senior Sara Walker advanced all the way to the singles final at the 2002 Omni Hotels West Region Women's Tennis Championships in San Diego over the weekend.
Walker, the tournament's No. 2 seed, defeated Arizona State's Adria Engel, 7-5, 6-2 in the semifinals before falling to top-seeded Jewel Peterson of USC, 6-2, 6-2.
