  • UCLA is 5-8 in its last 13 Pac-10 openers, but has now won its last three.

  • The Bruins now lead the series with Washington, which dates back to 1932, by a 33-28-2 count.

  • The crowd of 68,319 fans is a Rose Bowl season-high.

  • An unranked UCLA team had not defeated a ranked opponent since the 2002 season opener against 19th-ranked Colorado State. An unranked Bruin team's last win over a ranked Pac-10 opponent was October 28, 2000 at 24th-ranked Arizona.

  • Today marked the first time that UCLA had scored 39 points or more in a half since scoring 45 in the first half in a 66-10 win over Houston on October 4th, 1997.

  • Wide receiver Craig Bragg passed Cormac Carney and head coach Karl Dorrell to rank ninth on the UCLA career reception list with his three first quarter receptions. Bragg now has 115 career receptions, after eight today.

  • On his first play of the game, defensive tackle Rodney Leisle recovered a fumble in the end zone to score UCLA's first touchdown of the second half.

  • Drew Olson's two-point conversion pass to Manuel White Jr. was the first two-point conversion for the Bruins this season and the first since September 25, 1999. (DeShaun Foster vs. Stanford)

  • With his two punt returns, Bragg is now tied for fifth in the Bruin record books with 46 career punt returns.

  • Dave Ball recorded 3.5 sacks today to give him a career total of 23, which ranks fifth at UCLA.

  • Dave Ball also had four tackles for a loss which moves him from 18th to 11th on the career tackles for a loss list with 32 in his career.

  • Manuel White Jr.'s 56-yard fourth-quarter run is the longest run from scrimmage of his career. He rushed for 83 yards on 19 carries with one touchdown in the win.

  • Olson tied his career-high of 258 passing yards, which he set last week in the Bruins' 20-10 victory over San Diego State.

  • Washington had four second-half turnovers, which led to 25 UCLA points.
