Corey picked the most opportune time to score his first career goals, netting two in UCLA's 2-0 NCAA third round victory over Florida International on Sunday. Corey, who came off the bench in the 38th minute, recorded the first goal of the game just 51 seconds into the second half. He added a much-needed insurance goal with just over five minutes to play, helping send top-seeded UCLA into the quarterfinals for the third time in five years.
This is Corey's first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
