Keira Goerl Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

Goerl earned the victory in UCLA's 3-1 win over California in the NCAA title game, becoming only the third player in the history of the Women's College World Series to be the winning pitcher in two title games. She recorded four strikeouts and allowed just one run in Monday's title game and pitched a total of 33 innings in four games, giving up four runs and striking out 22. UCLA's championship is its second consecutive and record-setting 11th national title.

This is Goerl's second UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and fifth of her career.
