DALLAS - The 20th-ranked UCLA women's soccer team used a pair of second-half goals to defeat 21st-ranked SMU, 2-0 Friday evening at SMU's Westcott Field. With the loss, SMU falls to 3-2-1 while UCLA improves to 4-2 on the season.

UCLA dominated the offensive portion for a majority of the match, outshooting the Mustangs, 21-8. After a scoreless first half, UCLA posted its first goal on a successful penalty kick by Kendal Billingsley at the 61:06 mark. The Bruins got their insurance goal at the 83:36 mark with a goal by Bristyn Davis. Caitlin Ursini was credited with the assist.

SMU goalkeeper Amanda Clark collected eight saves on the evening. UCLA's Valerie Henderson was the winning goalkeeper, registering three saves.

UCLA rounds out its trip to Texas on Sunday, facing the 15th-ranked Aggies in College Station at 1:30 p.m. (CST).
