Kim Vandenberg Named UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week

In a dual meet victory against UC San Diego on Saturday, Vandenberg broke the 200 free pool and meet records with her opening leg of the 800 free relay. That relay team also went on to set a pool and meet record. Vandenberg also swam a NCAA "A" standard in the 200 Fly (1:56.29) and a "B" standard in the 100 Fly (53.95). Overall she won two individual events (100 Fly and 200 Fly) and was on the winning 800 free relay team.
This is Vandenberg's first UCLA/MET-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and third of her career.
