On Dec. 19th, 2007 the Bruin Varsity Club hosted its 2nd Annual Winter Reception in the UCLA Hall of Fame. The event took place prior to the Women's Basketball game against Tennessee. Many notable UCLA alumni were in attendance, including Ann Meyers-Drysdale and Anita Ortega.
The Bruin Varsity Club event included former athletes from a variety of men's and women's sports such as soccer, football, rowing, tennis, gymnastics, water polo and basketball.
