No. 1 UCLA Women's Water Polo Takes Down Colorado State, 15-2

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The No. 1 UCLA women's water polo team received goals from 12 players in a 15-2 win over Colorado State, Sunday afternoon in the Michigan Invitational at Michigan's Canham Natatorium.

Freshmen Kelly Easterday and Priscilla Orozco and junior Katie Rulon each scored two goals for the undefeated Bruins (3-0). Freshmen Megan Burmeister and Kelsey McGinley, in addition to Easterday, recorded their first collegiate goals against the Rams (0-4).

UCLA led the entire way, staking a 5-0 lead after one quarter. The Bruins held Colorado State scoreless through the second quarter to lead 9-0 at halftime. UCLA padded its cushion, outscoring the Rams 4-2 in the third quarter and 2-0 in the final frame.

UCLA concludes competition at the Michigan Invitational against Indiana on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. (PT).
