Ariana Berlin Earns Scholastic All-America Honors

UCLA senior gymnast Ariana Berlin has been named a NACGC/W Scholastic All-American for the second consecutive season.

Berlin recorded a 3.66 grade point average (GPA) during the 2007-08 school year in World Arts & Culture - Dance. She also received second-team Pac-10 All-Academic acclaim for her 3.50 cumulative GPA and first-team All-Pac-10 honors in the all-around after placing third at the Pac-10 Championships. Berlin has been one of the most consistent gymnasts in UCLA history, hitting 95% of her routines without a fall. She has also never missed a meet in her career, competing in 44 consecutive meets.

The NACGC/W Scholastic All-America team acknowledges gymnasts who carry a 3.5 or higher GPA during the school year.
