Boldizsar Kocsor got the Bruins off to a fine start on Friday in the hammer competition of the UCLA-USC dual meet as the junior won by 20 feet. Kocsor posted a mark of 214-10 to win, while USC's Trey Henderson was second (194-11) and Mike Curiel was third (186-0).

With the win, the UCLA men take a 5-4 lead heading into the full meet on Saturday.
