Husky Classic Results

Cory Primm and Marlon Patterson highlighted a small group of Bruin distance runners at the Husky Classic in Seattle on Saturday as both men ran lifetime-bests and NCAA qualifiers in their respective events.

Primm finished 15th in the 800m, running a new personal-best and provisional time of 1:49.14. Patterson ran a lifetime-best and provisional mark in the 1500m to finish 15th overall. His time of 4:00.45 was close to the NCAA auto standard (3:59.00) and just shy of the indoor school record (4:00.38). Patterson's time moves him to sixth all-time in UCLA history. Both Primm and Patterson's times rank amongst the top 15 in the NCAA this season.

Also in Seattle, senior Marco Anzures ran a lifetime-best in the 3000m to finish ninth overall (8:06.91). He was just under two seconds shy of a provisional qualifier (8:05.00). Alex Crabill was 28th in the 3000m, running 8:17.62. Scott Crawford finished third in his section of the mile with a lifetime-best 4:05.81.

The Bruins will have next weekend off before heading back to Seattle for the MPSF Indoor Championships February 26-27.
