Men's Tennis Suffers 4-1 Loss to No. 3 Tennessee

Seattle, Wash. - The sixth-ranked UCLA men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday, dropping a 4-1 decision to No. 3 Tennessee in quarterfinal action at the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors at the University of Washington's Nordstrom Tennis Center.
Tennessee (8-0), which also beat the Bruins in the quarterfinals of last year's tournament, took the doubles point on Saturday and then followed it up with wins by Rhyne Williams (court No. 1), Edward Jones (court No. 5) and John-Patrick Smith (court No. 2).
UCLA's lone point on the day came at court No. 6, where Bruin freshman Adrien Puget was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over Taylor Patrick.
The Bruins will look to rebound with a win on Sunday, as UCLA is scheduled to face No. 10 Florida at the Seattle Tennis Club beginning at 9:00 a.m.
