
Dyce & Faldermeyer Highlight Men's Track & Field At New Mexico Classic

Maxwell Dyce and Alex Faldermeyer highlighted the men's track and field team on day one of the New Mexico Classic in Albuquerque as both posted individual event wins on Friday.
Dyce, a sophomore, opened up his indoor season with a win in the 200m as he ran a lifetime-best of 21.41. Faldermeyer made his Bruin debut one to remember as he threw one of the top 10 weight throw marks in the U.S. to win the 35-lb event. His toss of 68-2.25 is tied for the top freshman mark in the NCAA this season.
Also in the 200m, junior Karlton Rolle was second overall as he ran a lifetime-best of 21.48. Junior Taylor Hobson was fourth in the high jump with a solid opening mark of 6-10.25 and junior Nelson Rosario was sixth in the long jump (22-10.50).
Competition continues on Saturday in Albuquerque.
