The Bruins raced three varsity eight crews and one novice eight at Lake Natoma.
UCLA's first varsity eight finished third out of 29 boats, posting a time of 17:05.50, nearly 14 seconds ahead of fourth place California. The Bruins' second varsity finished seventh (17:28.60) while the third varsity logged a 17th-place finish (18:15.20).
The novice eight finished fourth in a four-crew heat, crossing the finish line in 18:41.40.
