Player Bio: Mike McBride - UCLA Official Athletic Site

Michael McBride is in his tenth season as a member of the UCLA Athletic Department and is entering his fifth season as the Head Equipment Manager. He is responsible for overseeing the purchasing, fitting, maintenance, and distribution of equipment for all of UCLA's athletic teams. He works primarily with the football and men's basketball programs.

In addition, McBride supervises the student manager program along with three full-time members of the equipment staff -- Tony Perri and Sean Markus -- and interns Hector Tovar and Eddie Valencia. He is also responsible for managing an annual equipment budget of over $1.5 million. He and his staff are in charge of coordinating the equipment and apparel needs for the football program's practice, game and travel.

McBride is an 11-year certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association and is a member of the Schutt Sports and Douglas Protective advisory boards. He is married to the former Burcak Aydin.
