The top-ranked UCLA Bruins captured their first MPSF Tournament title since 2011 with a 12-11 overtime win over No. 3 California (23-6) in the finals of the 2015 MPSF Tournament at USC's Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Nov. 22. With the win, the Bruins improved to 28-0 on the year, claiming their 31st-straight victory, which extends the second-longest winning streak in school history. The all-time record is 50, which was established from 1964-68. Ryder Roberts leads the team in scoring, while Garrett Danner recently became the school's all-time leader in saves.

USC powered posted a 20-5 win over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps to secure a spot in the 2015 NCAA Semifinals. The Trojans took out the Stags in an NCAA Play-in Game at Uytengsu Aquatics Center on Dec. 3. A total of 12 different Trojans found the back of the net in the must-win situation. USC is in the NCAA Tournament for an unprecedented 11th straight season, and is looking to make its way to an 11th consecutive NCAA title match.

Team Information

Cal has spent the entire season ranked inside the top four nationally, and the Bears have fared well against the nation's best teams. The Bears won two matches and took No. 1 seed UCLA to overtime at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships. The Bears are led in scoring by a pair of freshmen, as Johnny Hooper (69 goals) and Odysseas Masmanidis (62) have each enjoyed a standout first college campaign. Seniors Colin Mulcahyand Thomas Agramonte have provided leadership as well as strong play and sophomore Luca Cupido has done a little bit of everything in a second-straight standout season in Berkeley.
