UCLA Notes – #24 UCLA 35, Colorado 31 – October 31, 2015
**UCLA leads the all-time series with Colorado 9-2 and has won all five meetings since the Buffs joined the Pac-12 in 2011.
**The Bruins are 24-4 under head coach Jim Mora when scoring first and 11-1 at home. Today's game was just the second time UCLA scored first this season (UNLV).
**UCLA is 30-0 under Mora when ahead at the half.
**The Bruins have scored in 24 straight red zone opportunities.
**Redshirt junior Paul Perkins posted the 10th 100-yard rushing game of his career, running for 118 yards. He has run for at least 80 yards in 20 games. He also had four receptions to give him 67 for his career, tying Chris Markey (2004-2007) for the school mark for running back catches.
**Perkins' touchdown reception in the first quarter was the 26th of his career, adding his 27th score on his 82-yard TD run in the second. He is tied for ninth on the Bruins' all-time list for touchdowns with Theotis Brown.
**Perkins surpassed the 3,000-yard rushing mark and has 3,020 for his career, which is eighth in UCLA history and 120 behind Skip Hicks for seventh. Perkins now has 3,689 all-purpose yards as a Bruin, 11th on UCLA's all-time list.
**Senior Jordan Payton caught a pass for the 24th straight game and totaled eight catches for 134 yards, his fifth career game with 100 yards or more. Third on UCLA's career receptions list, Payton (168) is 11 shy of second-place Kevin Jordan (179). Sixth on the school's receiving yards list, Payton (2,276) is 86 shy of fifth-place Nelson Rosario (2,362). Payton has 33 receptions this season for 497 yards in the last five games.
**Junior Thomas Duarte, who caught a pass for the 12th straight game, has 28 receptions and 442 yards in his last five contests.
**Freshman Josh Rosen broke the true freshman record for most quarterback wins with his sixth, one more than Cade McNown.
**Redshirt senior Jake Brendel started his 47th game, placing him solo second on UCLA's all-time list, breaking the tie he held with Craig Novitsky (46, 1990-1993) coming into the game. With his next start, Brendel will equal Spencer Havner's 48 from 2002 to 2005.
**The pick six for redshirt junior Ishmael Adams in the second quarter was the third of his career, which is one shy of the school record held by Alterraun Verner (2006-2009). The 96-yard return was tied for the 12th-longest in school history and the sixth-longest pick six in UCLA history. It was the Bruins' longest pick six since 1994 (Abdul McCullough at ASU, 98 yards). It was Adams' eighth career interception.
**Adams' score was the Bruins' second defensive touchdown of the season (Kenny Young at UNLV) and the 11th during Mora's tenure.
**Junior Jayon Brown posted a career-high 18 tackles, the most by a Bruin since Randall Goforth had 19 against Stanford in 2013. He also registered the first tackle for loss of his career.
**The 64-yard punt by senior Matt Mengel in the first quarter was a career high.
**Sophomore Nate Starks rushed for his fifth career touchdown in the third quarter, while freshman Soso Jamabo ran for his second score in the fourth.
**Redshirt junior Eli Ankou had a personal-best seven tackles.
**Freshman Nate Meadors had his first interception in the fourth to clinch the game.
