Seven UCLA men's water polo players have been selected to All-MPSF Teams, as announced by the conference office Tuesday. Junior goalkeeper Garrett Danner was the lone goalie named First Team All-MPSF and he was also named the Most Valuable Player. Junior center Gordon Marshall and junior attacker Ryder Roberts were also named to the First Team All-MPSF. Senior utility Daniel McClintick and senior defender Anthony Daboub were named to the Second Team All-MPSF. Junior attacker Patrick Fellner and sophomore attacker Max Irving were both named Honorable Mention All-MPSF. The seven players receiving all-conference accolades is up from six a year ago and five in 2013.

Danner (Coto de Caza, Calif./El Toro HS) has an MPSF-best 6.08 goals-against average entering the NCAA Tournament. He was the MPSF Tournament's Most Valuable Player after recording 43 saves through three wins, including one in the final three seconds to preserve an overtime championship win, the last of his career-high 21 stops in the finals. In the semifinals, Danner did not allow a goal through the first three quarters while becoming UCLA's all-time saves leader. His career saves total entering the NCAA Tournament stands at 741, ranking 12th in MPSF history. Danner was the only repeat MPSF Player of the Week winner in 2015 (Nov. 16, Sept. 21), playing a pivotal role in UCLA's 31-game win streak and second-straight unbeaten MPSF season. UCLA's first-ever newcomer of the year in 2013, Danner is the third MPSF Player of the Year for the Bruins (Scott Davidson-2009; Sean Kern-2000). He was also named the MPSF Tournament Most Valuable Player.

Marshall (Newcastle, Australia/Kotara HS) picked up his second All-MPSF selection and was one of two centers to be named to the First Team. Marshall is sixth on the team in scoring with 22 goals. He was also named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team.

Roberts (Vista, Calif./Vista HS) earned the second all-league honors of his career and the first as a First Team selection. He has scored at least one goal in 23-of-24 games he has played this year (none in the 12-8 win at Stanford, Oct. 17). He also has had multiple goals in each of the last 10 games and has moved into fifth in the MPSF in scoring with a team-leading 54 goals (2.16 gpg). He was also named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team.

Daboub (Newport Beach, Calif./Mater Dei HS) is the only defender in the league to be named to either the First or Second Team All-MPSF for the second consecutive year. Daboub has a career-best 30 goals this season, which is fourth on the team.

McClintick (Agoura Hills, Calif./Agoura HS) earned the second All-MPSF accolades of his career in 2015. McClintick is returning to form after a car accident during the summer. He has scored at least one goal in his last five games for a total of 11 goals in that span (2.2 gpg). He is currently tied for six on the team with 22 goals.

Irving (Long Beach, Calif./Wilson HS) earned the first all-league honors of his young career in 2015. He has vaulted into second on the team in scoring (44 goals, 1.6 gpg) after tallying at least one goal in 12 straight games (the streak was snapped in the 6-3 win over USC on Nov. 21). But he responded with a game-high three goals in the overtime win over Cal in the MPSF title game.

Fellner (Orinda, Calif./Miramonte HS) earned the first all-league honors of his career in 2015. He is currently third on the team in scoring with 36 goals (1.57 gpg), which ranks tied for 20th with Irving in the MPSF.

Pacific head coach James Graham was named Coach of the Year, California freshman attacker Johnny Hooper was named MPSF Newcomer of the Year.
