Park Finishes T-5 at U.S. Women's Open

LANCASTER, Pa. - Six of the nine Bruins participating in this week's U.S. Women's Open made the cut, including Jane Park, who posted her best finish in a major with a tied for fifth performance.
Park, who was tied for the lead following the opening round after firing a 66 on Thursday, maintained her position in the Top 10 all weekend and finished tied for fifth with a four-round total of 277 (3-under-par).
A trio of Bruins, Lee Lopez, Sydnee Michaels and Ryann O'Toole, tied for 20th at 2-over-par (282). Lopez was one of 16 players under par on Sunday, posting a one-under 69. Michaels recorded a pair of under-par rounds with a 68 on Thursday and a 69 on Saturday, while the steady O'Toole went 71-70-69-72 to also tie for 20th.
The round of the day on Sunday came from Alison Lee, who produced a four-under-par 66, which was tied for the best round of the day and tied for the second-best round of the tournament. Lee finished tied for 26th (283). Also making the cut was reigning Women's British Open champion Mo Martin, who tied for 35th (+5, 285).
Mariajo Uribe (+5) missed the cut by one stroke, as did Tiffany Joh (+8) and amateur and incoming UCLA freshman Lilia Vu (+11).
