STORYLINES
l UCLA has won the last three meetings with USC and last won four in a row during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. The Bruins won this season's earlier meeting, 78-73, in Pauley Pavilion on Dec. 30, 2015.
l The Bruins are currently ranked No. 15 in the AP Poll, No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and at No. 21 in the College Sports Madness Poll.
l The Pac-12 Conference is ranked No. 1 in the RPI with nine members in the Top 100 and seven teams in the Top 50. Stanford is at No. 3 followed by UCLA at No. 16 and USC at No. 20. Washington is at No. 23, Arizona State is at No. 26, Oregon State is No. 27 while California rounds out the seven programs in the Top 50 at No. 45. SERIES HISTORY
This is the 86th meeting between UCLA and USC with the Trojans leading the series 47-38. The Bruins have won nine of the last 13 meetings, including sweeping the Trojans last year, 59-52 at USC (Dec. 30, 2014) and 71-60 at UCLA (Jan. 18, 2015) and winning this season's earlier meeting, 78-73, in Pauley Pavilion (Dec. 30, 2015). In that meeting, UCLA sophomore Monique Billings led the Bruins with her fourth double-double (career-high 23 points and 12 boards) of the year and her second straight. Sophomore Jordin Canada had 22 points and eight assists, playing in all 40 minutes. Senior Nirra Fields came off the bench to score 19 points and add six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals. UCLA led 17-14 after the first period, 32-30 at the half and 53-51 at the end of three quarters. The final stanza was a tight affair with four ties and two lead changes until the Bruins took a 73-66 lead on a huge three-pointer by freshman Kennedy Burke with 3:29 to go. UCLA controlled the contest after that and won the game 78-73. For the game, UCLA shot 49.2 percent (31-for-63) and held USC to 38.0 percent (27-for-71). USC dominated the glass, using a 50-36 advantage, including 24 offensive rebounds, to post an 18-14 advantage in second chance points. Temi Fagbenle led USC with a double-double with career-highs of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Simon also had a double-double of 11 points and a career-best 14 boards. Brianna Barrett and Sadie Edwards rounded out the quartet of Trojans in double figures with 18 points and 10 points, respectively.

She is 9th in 20-point scoring games (32) and needs two more to move into 8th. She is 4th in three-point field goals made (119) and 2nd in attempts (399). She also moved into 5th in field goal attempts (1,532).

KORVER CLIMBING CAREER CHARTS
Junior guard Kari Korver is currently at No. 1 on UCLA's career free throw percentage list at 83.8 percent (119-for-142). She also ranks in the top 10 in all three categories for three-point shooting, ranking No. 3 in three-point percentage (.394), at No. 2 in makes (145) and at No. 4 in attempts (368).

CANADA NAMED TO NAISMITH WATCH LIST
UCLA sophomore point guard Jordin Canada is one of eight sophomores and one of eight Pac-12 players to be named to the Naismith Trophy's Early Season Watch List by the Atlanta Tipoff Club (announced Dec. 10). The watch list includes 50 of the top women's collegiate basketball players who will be in the conversation for the prestigious honor. Named in honor of Dr. James Naismith, inventor of the game of basketball, the Naismith Trophy recognizes the top Men's and Women's College Basketball Players of the Year. Canada currently leads the team in scoring at 18.0 points per game, which ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and 61st in the country. She also paces the Bruins in assists at 6.5 apg, which ranks second in the league and 15th nationally.

BOMBS AWAY
The Bruins have two three-point shooting contest winners on the roster this year as freshman guard Kennedy Burke won the 2015 high school three-point shooting contest, a competition won by junior guard Kari Korver in 2012. Right now, the pair have combined to make 40 of the team's 66 three-pointers (62.7% -- Korver has made 33, Burke has made seven).

BIG MACS ON CAMPUS
UCLA's roster features a school-record-tying four McDonald's All-Americans in 2015-16 as freshman forward Ashley Hearn joins sophomores Jordin Canada and Lajahna Drummer as well as senior guard Nirra Fields.

BRUINS IN THE POLLS
UCLA is currently ranked 15th in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll with 243 points. The Bruins also received 181 points for 21st in the USA TODAY Sports Top 25 women's basketball coaches poll. UCLA has received votes in both polls every week in 2015-16. Several 2015-16 opponents are also ranked or receiving votes in the AP Top 25 Poll as South Carolina is at No. 2 and Notre Dame is at No. 3. Stanford is ranked No. 9 while Oregon State is ranked No. 11. Arizona State is right behind at No. 14 while California dropped to No. 21 after its loss at ASU. Oregon (11 points), USC (nine points) and Washington (one point) also received votes in this week's AP poll. UCLA's season-opening opponent, St. John's, is receiving votes in this week's USA Today poll (10 points) as is California (74 points).
