PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. - The sixth-ranked Bruins start their spring season on Sunday at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge at Palos Verdes Golf Club. The tournament runs through Tuesday and will be a 54-hole event at the par-71, 6,017-yard layout.

UCLA's five starters will be senior Louise Ridderström, junior Bronte Law, sophomore Erin Choi and freshmen Lilia Vu and Bethany Wu. Playing as non-team scoring individuals will be junior Hadas Libman, who makes her Bruin debut, and sophomore Lydia Choi.

Sunday's tee times will be announced on Saturday, but players will be going off of both tees starting at 9 a.m. Live scoring will be available here.

Joining the Bruins in the 16-team field are top-ranked USC, #2 Duke, #9 Oklahoma State, #10 Arizona, #11 Alabama, #12 Florida, #13 Arizona State, #15 Washington, #19 UNLV, #27 Michigan State, #41 Ohio State, #42 Wake Forest, #50 North Carolina, #60 Pepperdine and #64 Baylor.

The Bruins are four-time winners of this event (2013, 2012, 2008, 2004) and have also claimed three individual titles (Bronte Law, 2015; Erynne Lee, 2013; Charlotte Mayorkas, 2004).

UCLA is coming off a victory at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview (Nov. 2-3) to end the fall season, shooting a 1-over 877. The Bruins were also third at the Stanford Intercollegiate (Oct. 18-20) and sixth at the Annika Intercollegiate (Sept. 27-29) during the fall campaign.

Law, who will look to defend her NGRC title, is coming off a victory at the Stanford Intercollegiate (-8, 205) and a T-4 at the Pac-12 Preview (E, 219). Of her nine rounds, six have been under par and four have been in the 60's. Ridderström finished the fall with a pair of Top 10's, going T-10 at the Pac-12 Preview (+2, 221) and T-8 at the Stanford Intercollegiate (+1, 214).

Erin Choi has played in a pair of tournaments, finishing T-11 at Stanford (+2, 215) and T-32 at Nanea (+11, 230). Vu is coming off the best showing of her maiden season, placing T-8 (+1, 220) at the Pac-12 Preview thanks to a final round 5-under 68, while also going T-19 (-1, 215) at the Annika and T-25 at Stanford (+5, 218). Fellow freshman Wu went T-15 in Hawai'i (+4, 223) and also had a 12th-place finish at the Annika (-4, 212) and a T-46 in Stanford (+10, 223).

Lydia Choi has appeared in all three tournaments and posted a T-15 at Nanea (+4, 223) and a T-20 at Stanford (+4, 217). Libman is making her Bruin debut after sitting out the fall following a transfer from Baylor, where she played in 12 tournaments in a season and a half.
