ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The second-ranked UCLA women's water polo team is back on the road this weekend, this time to compete in the Wolverine Invitational.  Joining the Bruins are Bucknell, George Washington, Long Beach State (No. 21), Loyola Marymount (No. 15), and host Michigan (No. 5).

UCLA has dominated the pool this season, compiling an 11-2 record since January.  Its only two losses are at the hands of top-ranked USC.  Last time out, the Bruins placed second at the UC Irvine Invite, falling to crosstown foe USC, 7-10, in the title game.  En route to the championship match, UCLA coasted past San Diego State, Michigan, and Hawai'i. 

The Bruins are led by the usual suspects in scoring.  Mackenzie Barr leads the squad with 21 goals, twice netting four in one game.  India Forster and Devin Grab have notched 17 apiece; Alexa Tielmann has posted 16.  Charlotte Pratt and Ashley Zwirner round out the Bruins in double digits with 14 goals each. 

In 13 contests, UCLA has netted 133 goals while limiting opponents to 76.  In the cage, veteran goalkeeper Alex Musselman has shared time with freshman Carlee Kapana.  Kapana has put up 76 stops (10.86 saves per game average), including a season-high 15 against UC Santa Barbara, which earned her MPSF/Kap7 Newcomer of the Week honors for the week of January 26.  At the UC Irvine Invite, Musselman posted a season-high 12 saves against San Diego State.
