FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — UCLA's Annika Lenz and Eloise Belanger qualify to compete in the platform event at the NCAA Championships after recording top-10 finishes in the platform finals at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on Wednesday. 

For the second-straight year, Lenz will represent the Bruins on the tower at the NCAA Championships.  Lenz, who set a UCLA school record in the platform at last year's Pac-12 Championships (323.15), finished fourth in the platform finals on Wednesday afternoon.  The junior scored a 538.45 overall to punch her ticket to Atlanta.

Bruin freshman Belanger also secured her spot in the platform event later this month.  Belanger posted a 256.00 in prelims to advance to the afternoon session.  In the finals, Belanger recorded 254.75 to finish eighth. 

Montana Monahan competed in the platform competition as well.  The senior placed 19th with a 217.90 in prelims, just missing the top-18 cut-off to advance to finals. 

Of the six Bruin divers competing at Zones, three advance to the NCAA Championships later this month.  Sophomore Maria Polyakova will compete in both springboard events for the second straight year.  Last time out, Polyakova finished fourth in the 3-meter competition.  Lenz will compete in the platform event.  Belanger joins her teammates in Atlanta, competing in all three diving events.
