Utah Valley women finish ninth at Entrada Classic

ST. GEORGEâโฌ"The Utah Valley University women's golf team finished ninth in the 14-team field at the Entrada Classic at Snow Canyon with a three-round score of 83-over-par 947 (317-313-317). The Wolverines finished ahead of five other schools, including Wyoming and Weber State.

Tournament host Brigham Young won the event with a three-round score of 24-over-par 888. Iowa finished second at 911 (+47), while San Francisco and Boise State tied for third at 917 (+53).

Kalea Heu led the Wolverines at the tournament with a three-round score of 18-over-par 234 (75-80-79). The senior carded a 7-over-par 79 in Tuesday's final round to finish in a tie for 27th.

Ana Raga moved up five spots on the leaderboard after shooting an 8-over-par 80 on Tuesday. The freshman finished the tournament with a three-round total of 24-over-par 240 (82-78-80).

Cassandra Lesa finished in a tie for 45th with a two-day total of 26-over-par 242 (77-79-86). The senior carded a 14-over-par 86 on Tuesday. Kimberly Nyhus also tied for 45th with a three-round total of 26-over-par 242 (83-82-77). Nyhus moved up 13 spots on the leaderboard after shooting a final round 5-over-par 77.

Carly Dehlin shot a final-round 9-over-par 81 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 56th with a three-round total of 29-over-par 245 (88-76-81).

Pernille Echberg, who played in the tournament as an individual, finished in a tie for 42nd after carding a three-round total of 25-over-par 241 (78-78-85). Echberg shot a 13-over-par 85 in Tuesday's final round.
