Grab Earns Weekly UCLA, MPSF Honors

Sophomore Devin Grab (South Pasadena, Calif.) of the UCLA women's water polo team was named the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Apr. 18-24.
Grab, who was also named the MPSF Player of the Week, put away the game-winning goal on a penalty shot to lift No. 2 UCLA over No. 3 Stanford in sudden-death overtime last Saturday. The Bruin led the squad in scoring with four goals on six shots, including two from front-court offense and one in a power play. In the 9-8 3OT win, Grab also tallied two assists and a steal. She currently leads UCLA offensively with 39 goals (MPSF Top-10) and 24 assists on the season. Defensively, she has recorded 27 steals. This was Grab's first career MPSF Player of the Week honor, following two newcomer of the week awards last year.
This is Grab's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
