
Five Bruins Earn All-MPSF Honors

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Five Bruins earned 2016 All-MPSF accolades, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon. Junior Mackenzie Barr received a First-Team All-MPSF nod, while senior India Forster and junior Alexa Tielmann earned Second-Team honors. Senior Charlotte Pratt made the Honorable Mention Team and freshman Lizette Rozeboom was selected to the All-Newcomer Team.
In addition, Barr was named to the MPSF All-Tournament Team after UCLA secured a third-place finish in the tournament with a 7-5 win over sixth-ranked Cal on Sunday. Barr is second on the team in scoring with 38 goals on the season. The utility player from Irvine has also recorded 33 steals, 24 assists, and 13 field blocks.
Joining Barr on the MPSF All-Tournament Team are Amanda Longan (USC), Stephania Haralabidis (USC), Brigitta Games (USC), Jamie Neushul (Stanford), Jordan Raney (Stanford), Emily Loughlin (Cal), and Rae Lekness (SJSU). Trojan goalkeeper Longan received tournament MVP honors.
