A total of 116 UCLA graduating student-athletes were honored at the Fifth Annual Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration in Pauley Pavilion on Thursday, June 9. Included among the graduates were student-athletes who graduated in Winter 2016 and Spring 2016 quarters, as well as those who are projected to graduate in Summer 2016 and Fall 2016.

Belden Long from women's soccer and Sean Davis from men's cross country and track & field delivered commencement speeches. A Pac-12 Postgraduate Scholarship in the amount of $9,000 was presented to Women's Volleyball/Beach Volleyball player Rachel Inouye. Gymnast Danusia Francis and water polo player Daniel McClintick were announced as UCLA's winners of the Tom Hansen Conference Medal, which is awarded annual to each member institution's outstanding senior male and female student-athlete based on the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership. Football player Kenneth Walker III received the Academic Momentum Award, presented by Scholar Ballers.
