Women's Water Polo
The U.S. women's water polo team capped its perfect 3-0 run through group play at the 2016 Olympics with an 11-6 win over Hungary. The win sets up a quarterfinal matchup with host Brazil on Monday at 2:20 p.m. PT as the competition moves to the Olympic Aquatics Stadium. Two Bruins found the back of the net in the win, led by incoming freshman Maddie Musselman's three goals. Former UCLA standout Courtney Mathewson notched two goals in the fourth quarter.Television coverage of Monday's quarterfinal match will be announced closer to game time, but the contest will stream live on NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app at 2:20 p.m. PT.
Men's Volleyball
Coach John Speraw's USA Men's volleyball team evened its pool play record at 2-2 with a four-set win over France on Saturday. The men's team will complete pool play on Monday with a match against Mexico. The top four teams in the pool will advance to the quarterfinal round, which begins next Wednesday.

Badminton
Howard Shu, a 2013 graduate of UCLA, dropped a straight-set match to Osleni Guerrero of Cuba on Saturday, falling by scores of 16-21, 15-21. Shu's match against Guerrero was part of men's singles group play (Group J). Jamie Subandhi, a 2011 graduate of UCLA, competed with her partner Phillip Chew in mixed doubles group play (Group D). The American duo lost in two sets to Piek Selena and Jacco Arends of the Netherlands. Set scores were 15-21, 19-21.
Up next for Team USA will be Iris Wang, a current UCLA undergraduate student, set to face China's Xuerei Li on Sunday at 11:55 a.m. PT in women's singles group play (Group E). Wang has earned victories in each of her previous group play events.
