Aleksandar Ruzic Named MPSF/Kap7 Player of the Week

This is the first Player of the Week honor of Ruzic's career and the first for UCLA in 2016.

LOS ANGELES, Calif.ย --ย UCLA junior Aleksandar Ruzic (Rolling Hills, CA/Palos Verdes HS) was named the MPSF/Kap7 Player of the Week today as announced by the league.
Heย totaled 21 saves while allowing nine goals over two wins last week, including a career-high and MPSF season-high 17 saves in the Bruins' 8-6 overtime win at No. 7 Long Beach State (Sept. 17). Ruzic more than doubled his previous career-best of eight saves, established three other times, while also tallying a career-high five steals to go with one assist against the 49ers.
He also played the entire game in the cage in a 9-3 win over No. 9 Pepperdine (Sept. 16), recording four saves and two steals. This is Ruzic's first career MPSF honor and UCLA's first of 2016.
