SACRAMENTO - All 11 Bruins competed in last weekend's 93rd California State Fair Men's Amateur Championship at the MacKenzie Golf Course at Haggin Oaks, with four finishing inside the Top 10.

Incoming freshman Devon Bling was the top Bruin finisher with a T-3 showing (-13, 203, 66-67-70), followed by junior Patrick Murphy (5th, -12, 204, 67-65-72), sophomore Hidetoshi Yoshihara (T-6, -11, 205, 73-65-67) and junior Cole Madey (T-9, -10, 206, 71-65-70). 

Incoming junior transfer Jack Ireland tied for 12th (-8, 208, 72-66-70), senior Tyler Collier tied for 15th (-7, 209, 69-71-69), sophomore Scott Mitchell tied for 23rd (-5, 211, 68-74-69), incoming freshman Eddy Lai tied for 28th (-4, 212, 69-71-72), sophomore Phil Delisi tied for 33rd (-3, 213, 70-71-72) and senior Corey Shaun tied for 38th (-2, 214, 73-69-72). Sophomore Harrison Mahon (+9, 153, 78-75) missed the cut.
